NEW DELHI: The North Delhi Municipal Corporation on Wednesday proposed an amnesty scheme that will allow people to retain unauthorised alterations to their homes, such as balcony extensions and new parapets, by paying a penalty. The alterations will be allowed as long as they fall within the footprint of the plot and does not exceed the new, revised floor-area ratios (FAR).
